This Dog Coached Me To a Close

Coach was allowed to go anywhere and walk up to anyone. Most people in the lobby ignored Coach and all I said was "Hello, who is the good boy?" With that Coach took to me like a, well, like a dog on a bone. He walked up confidently and waited to be petted.  Lots of tail wagging, lots of likes, lots of "please be my friend activity". 

The CEO of the company and I struck up a conversation. I was young and dumb, and didn't really understand realize he was, until about half way through our conversation. Instead I spent time asking him about his dog. When he asked me why I was there, I told him in about 30 words. After I told him he said, "well you must be a good person because my dog likes you". The next day I got a completed order. 

The point is this. A good coach can help you close even the hardest to get deal.
